OBJECTIVE: Roll a six on the dice to get out of the castle, move your pieces along, hit others, and return to home base.
Ludo is derived from the ancient Indian game "Pachisi" which was originally played with cowries and beehive shaped pieces. Even The Emporer Akhbar the first of the Mogul Empire played the game on giant boards in the 16th century using slave girls for counters.
Unfortunately, we do not have any slave girls for you, neither do we have a giant board. But We're sure you'll still enjoy our Flash Version of this ever classic board game.
The object of the game is for players in turn, race each other around the circuit to be the first to get all of their counters to the HOME base. When counters are knocked off they are returned to the starting square. |
